Check out this article from Miami New Times Blog…..The 10 Best South Beach Bars

 10. The Room

Talk about an accurate moniker. The Room is just that — a tiny, candlelit bar south of Fifth Street that’s home to an impressive selection of craft brews.

9. The Abbey

One of the oldest bars in the city and the Beach’s only actual brewpub, the Abbey is a landmark. Sidle into the smoky setting, order the 11 percent ABV Brother Aaron’s Quadruple, and drink like monks do.

8. Abraxas
An unpretentious beer-and-wine bar tucked away off Fifth Street, this spot is charming and comfortable — as well as home to some serious brew aficionados.

7. Lush

The definitive dive, this PBR-heavy hole in the wall has the Beach’s worst bathrooms — but some of its best prices. The bar’s Day Care for Drunks is an epic (and cheap) way to spend an afternoon.

6. Kill Your Idol
When Bruce Lee is looking down on you from above, it’s hard to be anything but optimistic. Hipster central, Kill Your Idol has PBR on tap and totally kitschy charm, completely different from the adjoining Lost Weekend.

5. Love Hate Lounge
Now heavy on the DJ visits, this diminutive bar is a classic spot on the South Beach roster. There’s lots of old-school hip-hop happening and plenty of nightly specials.

4. Ted’s Hideaway
Hot bartenders and a service industry-clientele make this place a SoFi favorite. Tasty bar food, a pool table and sports on every screen

3. Mac’s Club Deuce
If Anthony Bourdain’s endorsement isn’t enough, celebs like Cameron Diaz, Matt Dillon, and Kate Moss have also pulled up stools at this infamous dive. Dark, dank, and smoky…

2. The Broken Shaker
Arguably Miami’s best mixology spot, the Broken Shaker features owners Gabe Orta and Elad Zvi whipping up crazy concoctions using ingredients like Cocoa Puff-infuse. bourbon, mushroom bitters, and fresh herbs.

1. Lost Weekend
There’s no better place to lose a weekend. Or part of one, anyway. This Española Way favorite has bar games, plenty of pool tables, a digital jukebox, and Miami Beach’s best bar food (at the Alibi).
